Submission guidelines

1. Use the paper template

The authors are invited to submit their original papers (up to 5 pages) electronically in PDF format. The templates below have been modified from the IEEE 2-column journal's template. Please use them as reference to submit your paper(s).

2. Go to "Electronic Submission" (EDAS)

2-1. Select paper category

Contributed papers must be presented orally. Students are asked to indicate if they wish to participate in the WPMC'09 Paper Award Competition.
In submitting their paper, all authors must select the category from among the following two:

  • Full paper
  • Full paper participating in student paper award competition
2-2. Select the topic of paper

In submitting their paper, the authors must select the topic(s) from among those listed in the Call for Papers. Please note that topic selection is essential for submission. Up to four topics may be selected.

2-3. Enter author information (essential)

Enter the title of your paper, abstract, category and topic(s), followed by all the information on the author and co-author(s). The entered data will be shown in the Conference Proceedings that are handed out as a CD-ROM. Make sure to enter your information accurately and thoroughly. Note that, once your paper has been reviewed, no more revisions whatsoever can be made to author information at the time of Final Submission.

2-4. Receive Paper ID, to be used for future correspondences

After submitting their paper, the authors will receive a confirmation email featuring their unique paper ID number, to be used in all future correspondences.

3. Send Copyright Transfer Form

Please complete the Copyright Transfer Form and return it to the WPMC'09 Contact Secretariat by fax or by post. You may also scan a signed copy and email the scanned pdf file to wpmc2009@ilcc.com. Please note that the file name for the e-mail attachment should be your paper ID.
It is imperative that we receive your copyright form by May 10, 2009.

*Notice*
After your paper has been accepted by the TPC committee in June 2009, a minimum of one author from your accepted paper MUST register at the full registration fee (member or non-member) BEFORE the registration deadline which will be informed later.
Accepted papers which do not have an author registered at the full registration fee by that deadline will be removed from the Conference Proceedings.
Refunds of registration fees will not be made under any circumstances following the inclusion of the paper in the Conference Proceedings. One author registration, will allow you to present a maximum of two accepted papers.

[Paper Review and Publication]

Submitted papers will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be mailed to the first author on June 20. Accepted papers will be published by means of electronic proceedings with ISSN.

Tutorial Proposal

We concurrently accept Tutorial Proposals. Send your proposals to the Contact Secretariat, at wpmc2009@ilcc.com.
